Staff Interview: Matthew Mawson - Sunrise Software

Matthew Mawson

1. What is your career highlight to date?

I have only had a few jobs before coming to Sunrise, so I would say that my highlight was organising the procurement of some mentoring software for Kingston University Alumni Association.

2. What are you most looking forward to working on at Sunrise?

I am mostly looking forward to getting a good grip on Sostenuto itself! During the month that I have been here, I feel I now have a good understanding of how everything works, but knowing more about SQL servers would be high on my list.

3. What do you get up to outside of work?

I play pool once or twice a week with some friends from uni, and I am also majorly into playing Star Wars: The Old Republic and I play that a lot in my free time (classic geek!)

4. Tell us a random fact about yourself

I have achieved Grade 7 Foil in Fencing. Before my final year at university I fenced in the Kingston Fencing Club.

5. What music is currently on your iPod/car stereo?

The CD currently in my car stereo is Scars and Souvenirs – Theory of a Deadman
