Catalyst Housing has selected Sostenuto Foundation to support its service management drive.
Chessington, UK – 26 March, 2008 Catalyst Housing, the group that provides affordable housing in London and the South East of England, has selected Sostenuto Foundation to support its service management drive.
The IT department at Catalyst led by Head of Infrastucture and Facilities Ian Smillie, identified a number of critical areas for improvement; the effective logging and tracking of incidents, improved communication with customers and provision of management statistics to back up their impressive up-time. Catalyst then evaluated four leading solutions.
Sostenuto was selected ahead of the other solutions to help in these areas and Smillie explains why:
“We evaluated 4 products and Sostenuto stood out. It gave us what we needed nearly out of the box. We could use the product immediately and tailor later – ideal for us”.
Since the recent implementation, Catalyst have already identified some early improvements that Sostenuto has made, including the number of calls recorded and the ability to track work load effectively. Smillie and his team expect these improvements to increase with time as they expand use of the system.
