Sostenuto chosen to support ITIL drive at Newham University Hospital NHS Trust.
Chessington, UK – 24 December, 2007 Newham University Hospital NHS Trust has selected Sunrise’s Sostenuto service management solution to support their drive for ITIL adoption. The ICT department at Newham, comprising 27 IT staff and 12 telecoms staff, is using Sostenuto to support a substantial user base of over 4,500 users across 100 NHS sites in East London.
The department, led by ICT Operations Manager Shaun Jeffery, selected Sostenuto to meet their drive for ITIL adoption, as Jeffery explains:
“Sostenuto meets the needs of our business. We need to adopt ITIL and Sostenuto will help us achieve this.”
Newham’s decision on which IT service management solution to select was made even easier based on the positive experience that Newham had with previous Sunrise products, as Jeffery details:
“The fact that we already have a strong relationship with Sunrise added to the fact that it is a cost effective solution made our decision relatively easy.”
Jeffery is looking forward to Sostenuto helping on a number of fronts; improving clarity of information, acting as a single repository, offering an advanced knowledgebase and helping with the transfer of skills.
