Sunrise today announce the availability of Sostenuto 3.0, the latest version of their browser-based service management tool Sostenuto.
Chessington, UK – 24 September, 2007: Sostenuto 3.0, the latest version of Sunrise’s browser-based service desk solution, is now available as a free upgrade to all Sostenuto customers with a valid support and maintenance contract.
The new release comes with a host of new features following a sustained period of research and development, including two new integration features.
Firstly, Sostenuto can now integrate with the calendar information held within Microsoft Exchange Server, allowing support staff to view and update the diaries of colleagues from within Sostenuto or Chameleon. The second integration features user authentication and single sign-on for popular LDAP servers such as Microsoft’s Active Directory. This new capability is again available in both Sostenuto and Chameleon, meaning one less username and password to remember for both internal support staff and external end-users. Outside of integration there are also significant email processor enhancements, new screen designer capabilities and the first results of an ongoing project to make the graphical user interface more modern and compliant with various accessibility guidelines.
