Sunrise today announce the release of Sostenuto 3.0, the latest version of their leading browser-based solution.
Chessington, UK – 28 June, 2007
Following a sustained period of research and development Sunrise are pleased to announce the imminent release of Sostenuto 3.0, the eagerly anticipated next version of their browser-based solution Sostenuto.
Sostenuto 3.0 is available from end-July 2007 and is expected to create a big stir with customers and new business prospects alike.
Speaking about the launch, Product Marketing Director Neil Penny says:
“We are very much looking forward to the release of version 3.0 and have put a substantial amount of resource into ensuring that the product meets the needs of our customers moving forward and also the needs of the wider service management market. Key areas we are excited about are two new integrations
The first integration is with the calendar information held within Microsoft Exchange Server which allows support staff to view and update the diaries of colleagues from within Sostenuto or Chameleon. The second integration features user authentication and single sign-on for popular LDAP servers such as Microsoft’s Active Directory. This new capability is again available in both Sostenuto and Chameleon, meaning one less username and password to remember for both internal support staff and external end-users.
Lastly there are also significant email processor enhancements, new screen designer capabilities and the first results of an ongoing project to make the graphical user interface compliant with various accessibility guidelines as well as more modern. Overall this is a significant release for both Sunrise and its customers.
