Sunrise today announced the release of Sostenuto 1.3, the new version of its powerful browser based IT service management solution.
Sostenuto, which has widely been recognised for the significant technology advances it introduces to IT Service Management, sees extensive performance and scalability enhancements in version 1.3. As a result, users will experience higher application responsiveness as well as a reduction in the size of data transmitted across the network.
Sostenuto 1.3 also extends the product’s email support capabilities, including support for emails sent with file attachments, multiple email accounts and enhanced email security among other improvements.
A substantial aspect of the new release is the inclusion of Chameleon, Sostenuto’s HTML interface which was launched last month at the Help Desk and IT Support Show 2004 in London. Chameleon provides an alternative way of accessing Sostenuto via a web browser. It offers an organisation the ability to customise its “look and feel”, supports the use of style sheets and offers unlimited opportunity to introduce images, text and links to other internal/external websites, creating a portal feel for the user.
