This week’s ‘Friday Introducing’ brings you Katy Platt, Financial Controller for Sunrise. Previously Katy has worked as a Chief Operating Officer for a software house and as Head of Finance at a luxury ski tour operator – benefiting from some enjoyable time spent in the Alps ‘training’ staff – we are not at all jealous…
Katy is responsible for the Central Services Team, which consists of 3 areas – Finance, HR and Facilities. The Facilities side is responsible for the day to day running of the office, HR is responsible for staff contracts, employment matters, holidays, sickness and the employee handbook and finally the finance team are responsible for credit control, purchasing, payment runs and payroll. In addition to this Katy can also be found doing the day-to-day accounting, management accounts, project costing, along with personnel security screening to allow our Professional Services Consultants to work on high security customer sites. Katy is one busy lady!
Outside of Sunrise Katy has her hands full with her two lovely children, who keep her busy with play dates and trips to the park – and if all that hasn’t worn Katy out, she can then be found at her weekly spinning class, an activity she loves to make time for.
