Friday Introducing Charles …
This week we bring you Charles Lee, Head of Consultancy Services for the Sunrise Professional Services Team. Since 2006 Charles has moved up through the support and service delivery teams starting his Sunrise journey on the Service Desk and then moving into Technical Consultancy.
In his current role Charles manages and mentors the consultants within his team, providing knowledge transfer and inputting into how the consultants deliver their projects. It is his responsibility to ensure that the team grows and develops, and that they have the right level of training and support in order to complete their job effectively. In addition, Charles works closely on the more extensive projects having been closely involved with many successful Managed Service Provider (MSP) projects in his time at Sunrise. One of the largest projects Charles worked on was with the award winning ‘ANS Group’, having worked closely with the owner of the business for a year to deliver a solution that satisfied multiple business objectives and delivered multiple ROI.
Charles explains that his long term commitment to Sunrise over the past 9 years has been due to Sunrise being such a people orientated company, along with having the opportunity to deliver the Sunrise ‘Sostenuto’ product that he believes is an excellent business enabling platform.
When it comes to outside of Sunrise, it’s sport, sport and more sport for Charles. Enjoying a range of sports including rugby, cricket and golf when he gets time. However, sport is not the only passion in Charles’ life, having been “over the moon” to marry his wonderful fiancée ‘Ali’ in 2014
